Lana DavidDance Into Unity, Co-FounderDirector of Events Through her work and development in the fields of communication encompassing science technology, socio-cultural projects involving international and local communities, and both the healing and expressive arts, Lana has established a deep understanding and appreciation of the connection between people upon which she has built a solid foundation as an ultimate proponent of humanitarianism.Her efforts are fully directed to bringing what she has learned to the community manifesting her vision of a greater reality, and raising consciousness and quality of life.Svetlana is co-founder of Dance Into Unity, Inc. and the co-author of the book series "Dance Into Unity through the Heart of Tango".

Elena AlexandraDance Into Unity, Co-FounderDirector of Arts & EducationArtist, dancer, teacher, Elena is the co-founder of the non-profit organization "Dance Into Unity, Inc." and the Executive Producer of two successful Broadway-cast dance productions to raise autism awareness "El Corazon del Tango" (2006) and "Tango Adamor" (2008) staged with Broadway tango legend Miriam Larici as Artistic Director. As a part of our mission to enrich the community by introducing top level arts and education programs, DIU in association with the non-profit Unity in Diversity Arts Foundation offered the program "Magic of Tango" in West Hollywood where Elena created a series of workshops for adults to improve health and quality of life.Currently Elena is developing a range of educational programs for youth to launch our "Match A Friend" project to train "friends" for autistic individuals who will be educated in arts, dance and humanities by a team of professionals who are part of Dance Into Unity's network.BIO:Elena completed her undergraduate work in psychology at the University of Massachussets, realizing that her road lay in her life-long fascination with the human psyche and its potentials. Elena continued her graduate studies at Lesley University in Cambridge, Massachussets where she received her masters degree in Psychology.During her internships, Elena had the opportunity to work with various populations representing a spectrum of states of the human condition - including adult outpatients diagnosed with substance abuse and psychiatric disorders, emotionally-behaviorally challenged teens at an urban junior high-school, and a broad and varying range of college students coming through a counseling center at one of the biggest universities of the country, right in the heart of Boston.Upon moving to California in 2001, Elena was offered a position at the American University of Complementary Medicine, where she taught Introduction to Psychology, Theories of Personality and Abnormal Psychology, and eventually put them all together into a class that came to be known as a favorite of students called “Personality Profiles”. At that time Elena'’s love for performing arts and specifically dance brought her to the world of Argentine Tango. Elena immersed herself into dance, connecting with an international tango community, attending “dances called "milongas"” and absorbing the technique, style and flavor of it all right on the dance floor.What attracted her most is what lies at the very core of this dance: CONNECTION. Elena wanted to expand and share this experience, which resulted in her co-founding the non-profit organization Dance Into Unity, Inc. where Elena could combine her educational experience with her love for dance.

Freddy LoaizaAdam's Ranch Project Manager & DeveloperProfile:"I want to bring the best of the world to my country, and the best of my country to the world."Freddy comes from the area of the Sacred Valley of the Incas near Cusco, the Imperial City of the Incas in Peru. There, he grew up on his family run agricultural estate specializing in coffee and cocoa. Already on horseback at the age of six, Freddy was immersed into all aspects of ranch life from a very young age. Firsthand, Freddy learned about working a plantation, agricultural cycles, tending to animals, and management of a 60 person on site farming staff.Following in the footsteps of his father who held the highly esteemed position of Chief of Police in the largest province of the Cusco Region, La Convención Province, Freddy completed military school, following which he attended San Antonio National University in Cusco, where he studied Electrical Engineering, and afterwards graduated a five year program earning a degree in Economics.In 2001, he relocated to California to further develop his business skills and take his vocation to a new level.Expanding his knowledge base in the US, Freddy’s interest is to enrich the world community making available the rich resources of his own country to other parts of the world. Through his own experience, Freddy emphasizes that the right education and training would enable significant improvements and innovations to the farming system in his own country enhancing production and capability and thereby facilitating the import/export industry and trade relations.Freddy’s business acuity is paralleled by his life-long interest in helping people to ‘be happy’ and fulfill their dreams.With his expertise, international network of connections and humanitarianism, Freddy is an invaluable member of Adam’s Ranch core development team.

Miriam LariciArtistic Director of Tango AdamorMiriam is the Artistic Director and Choreographer of Dance Into Unity's dance production "Tango Adamor" aimed to raise autism awareness.Profile:Miriam Larici is the world-famous iconic image of the Broadway-London hit "Forever Tango". Bestowed with what is now her well-known title, "“World Leading Lady of Tango”", Miriam has been invited to perform with the most prestigious orchestras of the world at some of the most highly publicized international events including the performing arts series "Evening at Pops", with the Boston Pops Orchestra broadcast nationally by PBS where the acclaimed actress/dancer Leslie Caron stated about Miriam and her partner :“… "...if I had to choose among tango dancers in the world, these two would be my option".” In June 2008 Miriam invited rising Broadway Star Leonardo Barrionuevo to take part in Dance Into Unity's production "Tango Adamor" as her dance partner and associate choreographer. The two have been dancing together since. Mastery, intensity and passion are blended in the magic of Leonardo and Miriam's partnership as they perform and teach at major Tango Festivals and shows around the world. In January 2009 the pair won a Gold Medal on "NBC's Superstars of Dance" and thereafter were invited to become choreographers on "So Yo Think You Can Dance".Miriam and Leonardo are choreographers of Dance Into Unity's production "Tango Adamor" dedicated to raising autism awareness.

Anna KorotyshevaArtist, Ballet Mistress (Kirov Ballet) and Choreographer isour liaison to world level ballet talent Anna Korotysheva studied ballet at the prestigious Vaganova Academy of Classical Ballet in Saint Petersburg, Russia graduating at the top of her class in 1987. Her principal teachers were Ludmila Komissarova, a pupil of Madame Agrippina Vaganova, and Inna Zubkovskaya, an esteemed principal ballerina of the Kirov ballet, Mariinsky Theatre.Following graduation, Ms. Korotysheva received the highest honor any graduate of the Vagonova Academy may receive, an invitation to join the Kirov Ballet Company. She performed at the Mariinsky Theatre and around the world on tours, which have included Australia, Belgium, China, Cyprus, England, France, Finland, Germany, Greece, Italy, Korea, Mexico, Netherlands, Japan and the United States of America.Ms. Korotysheva has performed solo roles with Kirov Ballet, Mariinsky Theatre, including: The Fountain of Bakhchisarai, The Bell Dance; Nancy, Sylphida; Farandolla, Cinderella-Sleeping Beauty; Page-Romeo & Juliet. She has also performed in the Kirov Operas Don Pasquale, as the Kolombina; La Traviata, as the Gypsy Dancer. In addition, appreciated for her technical virtuosity and sizeable repertoire, Ms. Korotysheva is a popular guest artist with a number of esteemed ballet companies. She has made guest appearances with Valentina Ganibalova's Ballet Theatre, performing in the Ballet Exlibris, a concert dedicated to the musician Amadeus Mozart; Carnaval; divertissements from the ballet Humpbacked Horse, The Ocean & Two Pearls; Coppelia;Pas de quatre; Swan Lake-The Russian Dance and Neapolitan Dance;Sleeping Beauty-The White Cat and Fairy.Ms. Korotysheva's concert repertoire additionally includes miniatures from the renowned choreographer Leonid Jacobson and Fyodor Lopukhov, duet from Ballet Taras Bulba.Ms. Korotysheva has performed in concerts which are dedicated to the memory of famous Russian Choreographer Mikhail Fokine, and danced "Spectre de La Rose" in 1992 in Perm. Besides a notable performance career, Anna Korotysheva has concurrently continued her academic education and holds degrees from the Saint Petersburg N.A. Rimsky-Korsakov State Conservatory, graduating with a Bachelor of Arts Diploma for Ballet Direction & Choreography, receiving the conferred qualification of Ballet Mistress & Choreographer. She has earned a Master of Arts Diploma in the Specialty of Choreography and Stage Direction. Ms. Korotysheva's extraordinary education includes mastery in the subjects of Script Dramaturgy, Artistic Design, Fundamentals of Clavir & Score,Psychology & Pedagogy, History of Public Ideas in the Context of Culture, History of Music, Theatre, Ballet, Literature and Fine Arts.Behind the stage, Ms. Korotysheva has worked as an Assistant and Ballet Mistress in preparations for productions of young, upcoming choreographers who have staged new works at the Conservatory Theatre. As Choreographer, she has staged The Kingdom of The Shades & Grand Pas from the Ballet La Bayadere by Minkus after Petipa; Spectre de La Rose by Vebern/Fokine at the Krasnodar State Musical Theatre; and Russian Dance for the Young Leningradians, St.Petersburg Children's Ensemble. Since 2003, Ms. Korotysheva has served as the artistic consultant for San Francisco's Presidio Dance Theatre, located in America's newest national park, the Presidio of San Francisco. There she has assisted with dance historyapplication, classical ballet choreography, musical scores, costume and set design, costume procurement, and adaptation of choreographic works which are age-appropriate for students and student productions.

Cole FlintAutism Activist & Activities Coach Cole hails from Omaha, Nebraska where he spent much of his childhood at his family owned ranch and where early on he learned to ride horses and care for animals.During his high school years he met an autistic boy whom he was drawn to help. Cole started to visit the boy's family on a regular basis and shortly thereafter became his friend and caretaker. It was so rewarding to watch the progress of his autistic friend that after graduating high school, Cole decided to study Special Ed.In 2010, Cole moved to Los Angeles where he met Adam. For 7 months (Nov. 2010 - June 2011) Cole lived at Adam's home as Adam's friend/carataker. Adam became very attached to Cole and because of this connection made amazing progress. After Cole moved out, for a while Adam kept looking for his friend repeating: "Cole... Cole..." to everyone around. Cole is currently completing his undergraduate studies and planning to join Adam's Ranch team as Activities Coach.

Leonardo BarrionuevoDance Coach and choreographer of Tango Adamor Leonardo Barrionuevo has trained in an exquisite Tango style with some of the best Milongueros of the night of Buenos Aires as well as in contemporary dance, jazz and partner technique. He has performed and/or choreographed in many tango shows in Argentina, Europe and Latin America. In 2007, as one of the best male dancers Leonardo futured at London/Broadway hit Forever Tango and was touring with the company at major cities of United States. Leonardo partnered with our Artistic Director Miriam Larici since June 2008 to take part as choreographer and the principal dancer in the premiere of of DIU production Tango Adamor. Mastery, intensity, passion and magic are now blended with Leonardo and Miriam dancing together since June 2008 performing and teaching around the world. In 2009 they won the Gold Medal at NBC Superstars of Dance and since then have been tango choreographers at So You Think You Can Dance.
